Job Description:

Job title: Mechanical Engineer Intern 

Objectives: to oversee and contribute to the implementation of project activities on field level, leading and provide support on the Mechanical aspects of the Project

Scope of Work: The Intern will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Examine the collected data for data cleaning agriculture project projects.
2. Support on project activities and implementation as needed
3. Support on preparing and developing of training materials
4. Support on reporting internally as per requested by the project manager
5. Oversee and manage installation of Mechanical Component and Solar Panels in on site, support on the daily inspection and maintenance of project tools and equipment’s, track and record on site inventory.
6. Mange and lead contractors works on site
7. Any other assigned tasks by line manager

Deliverables: The Intern will be expected to provide the following deliverables:

1. To contribute on the technical aspects of the project
2. Contribute to Water Harvesting project final reports.
3. Support other WASH projects

Timeframe: The assignment will be for three months, the Intern will be expected to complete the assignment and submit the deliverables within the agreed-upon timeframe.

Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Engineering degree in Mechanics, students, and fresh graduates
2. Familiarity with the Humanitarian Interventions and Jordan Context.
3. Maan City Applicants are encouraged to apply
4. Fluent in Arabic and English.

Confidentiality: The Intern is expected to maintain confidentiality and not disclose any information obtained during the assignment to third parties without prior written approval from World Vision Jordan.
