Senior Maintenance Technician FSR #735

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of all hospital infrastructure, facilities, utilities, and equipment. This includes electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, biomedical equipment coordination, life safety systems, and building structures. The role ensures compliance with healthcare regulations of IMC, manages maintenance teams, and develops preventive maintenance programs to ensure the continuous and safe operation of hospital services.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES

1. Help plan and follow long-term maintenance goals for the hospital.
2. Support projects to improve hospital buildings and systems.
3. Assist in planning and managing the maintenance budget.
4. Make sure hospital buildings and systems are in good working condition.
5. Ensure all work follows safety rules and hospital standards (IMC).
6. Keep records ready for inspections and audits.
7. Supervise maintenance staff (technicians and Volunteers).
8. Manage work schedules, performance checks, and training for staff.
9. Promote safety and make sure all staff follow safety procedures.
10. Manage service contracts (e.g., garbage collection, HVAC service).
11. Liaise with suppliers to get the best price for services and materials.
12. Monitor energy use and suggest ways to save energy.
13. Lead the team during emergencies (like power failures or system breakdowns).
14. Make sure backup power systems (generators, UPS) are working.
15. Keep clear records of all maintenance work, inspections, and equipment.
16. Report to management about maintenance progress, risks, and needs.
17. Ensure important spare parts are always in stock for smooth hospital operation.
18. Help inspect and maintain diesel generators for backup power and Check fuel, oil, battery, and cooling levels for generators.
19. Provide maintenance support to other IMC locations when needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma degree in mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management.
• Any other Professional certification will an added value.  
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role in healthcare facility management or similar.   

• IT knowledge in Microsoft (Ward, Excel) and internet use.
