KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Amman office and support business and trade initiatives between Korea and the Levant region. Since 1962, KOTRA has been working in promoting trade and investment, operating 131 offices in 85 countries. The Amman office, established in 1977, serves as a key bridge for businesses in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria exploring partnerships with Korea.

To maintain our high standards, we are seeking exceptionally qualified individuals for the following positions:

Available Positions

Full-Time Employee

 - Focus: Supporting long-term business development between Korea and the Levant region.

 - Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in market consulting, sales, or marketing; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Temporary Employee

 - Focus: Managing government programs such as the Knowledge Sharing Program.

 - Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; prior experience in project coordination or similar roles preferred.

Half-Time Levant Region Researcher

 - Focus: Conducting research and supporting business development initiatives in the Levant region.

 - Requirements: Strong research skills; experience in data analysis preferred.

Responsibilities (All Positions)

• Provide export, sales, and marketing support for Korean SMEs in the Levant region.
• Conduct market research and analysis on industries, public sectors, regulations, and policies.
• Build business connections with buyers, investors, and government officials.
• Support trade delegations, trade fairs, and consulting services for Korean SMEs.
• Organize B2B events, including local exhibitions and delegation trips to Korea or the Levant region.

Position Details

Full-Time Employee

 - Type: Full-time employment.

 - Start Date: February 2025 (includes a 3-month probation period).

Temporary Employee

 - Type: Fixed-term contract (approximately 8 months, including a 3-month probation period).

 - Start Date: February 2025.

 - End Date: September 30, 2025.

Part-Time Levant Region Researcher

 - Type: Part-time (4 hours per working day).

 - Duration: 6-month fixed-term contract (includes a 3-month probation period).

 - Start Date: February 2025.

Application Criteria

Minimum Requirements (All Positions):

• Legally authorized to work in Jordan for at least one year (permanent residence permit required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Business-fluent in English (minimum C1 level).
• Valid Jordanian driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel regionally or internationally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK level 4 or above is highly preferred).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in market consulting, sales, or marketing.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office for creating reports and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
