Amman Baptist School is seeking to hire a qualified and dedicated School Doctor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students and staff by providing medical care, conducting health screenings, managing student health records, and supporting health education initiatives. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to student care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and monitor students with chronic health conditions
• Conduct regular health assessments and screenings for students
• Provide immediate care for injuries and illnesses during school hours
• Administer first aid and determine when further medical attention is required
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical and immunization records in line with regulations
• Educate students and staff on hygiene, infection control, and preventive health practices
• Communicate with parents about student health issues and collaborate with public health authorities
• Supervise medication administration, ensure safe storage, and document usage
• Ensure compliance with national immunization and vaccination requirements
• Liaise with public health authorities and follow up on national school health guidelines

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Valid license to practice medicine
• 3+ years of clinical experience, preferably with children or in a school setting
• Strong communication and emergency response skills
• Ability to manage health records and individualized care plans
• Familiarity with school health regulations and public health policies
