KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) is a government-affiliated organization dedicated to promoting trade and investment between South Korea and global markets. Established in 1962, KOTRA operates 132 offices in 86 countries worldwide.

The KOTRA Amman Office, established in 1977, serves as a strategic hub supporting business cooperation between Korea and the Levant region (including Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria). The KOTRA Amman Office also functions as the Commercial Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

To maintain our high standards, we are seeking a highly qualified, motivated, and professional Marketing Specialist to join our team.

1. Available Position & Details

• Position: Full-Time Marketing Specialist ( Trade, Sales, and Market Research )
• Focus: Supporting Korean companies through market research, buyer matching, trade promotion, and business development in the Levant region.
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Start Date: To Be Determined (TBD)
• Probation Period: 3 months
• Target Hiring Number: To Be Determined (TBD)

2. Key Responsibilities

• Provide export, sales, and marketing support for Korean Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) seeking business opportunities in the Levant region.
• Conduct market research and industry analysis, including assessments of public sector opportunities, regulatory frameworks, government policies, market trends, and potential buyers or partners.
• Arrange and support one-on-one online and offline business meetings between Korean SMEs and local buyers, distributors, partners, investors, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong business networks with buyers, investors, government agencies, industry associations, and other key stakeholders in the Levant region.
• Plan, organize, and support B2B and B2C programs, including local exhibitions, trade fairs, business matchmaking events, consulting programs, and inbound/outbound trade delegations between Korea and the Levant region.
• Prepare professional market reports, presentations, meeting materials, and other business documents as required.

3. Application Criteria

Minimum Requirements:

• Jordanian nationality.
• Business-fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong reporting, data analysis, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
• At least two years of professional experience in market research, business consulting, sales, marketing, trade promotion, or a related business field.
• Practical experience in digital marketing, including online campaigns, social media, and digital promotion strategies.
• Experience in public procurement research, buyer sourcing, or business development is an advantage.
• Proficiency in the Korean language, preferably TOPIK Level 4 or above.
• Valid Jordanian driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
