Job Description and Requirements

Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer - O&M Team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Conduct regular testing and calibration of instruments and control systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
  • Collaborate with other O&M team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement and adhere to safety protocols and standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to O&M staff.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and DCS.
  • Experience with Variable Speed Drives (VFD) and power transformers.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, ISA).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies as needed.

Job Title: Automation System SCADA & DCS Engineer - O&M Team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works as specialist of software, hardware and systems on site
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of SCADA and DCS systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Conduct regular testing and calibration of control systems and instruments.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
  • Ensure site systems are working to meet the strategies to achieve short- and long-term company objectives in relation to processing ores, environmental requirements and safety targets
  • Ensure that the systems (EAM, MES, OSC, ERP) are operating effectively at all times, and interfaces for these systems are also working smoothly
  • fulfils the training required at all levels and to ensure that skill levels are adequate to fully utilize the systems
  • Prepare and coordinate the training required due to system upgrades or system changes
  • Collaborate with other O&M team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement and adhere to safety protocols and standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to O&M staff.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Create useful user reports from the systems as required by the managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering, Automation Engineering, PLC Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience in SCADA and DCS maintenance at metallurgical/mineral processing plant
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA and DCS systems, including PLCs and HMI.
  • Experience in developing PLC logic functions and communication protocols.
  • Specific experience with YOKOGAWA DCS systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, ISA).
  • Proven management ability and understanding of statutory requirements relating to a concentrator process plant. 
  • Job Title: Electric Reliability Engineer - O&M Team
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide the expertise and technical support to maintain and improve the reliability of systems in the plant including the data gathering, failure analysis, troubleshooting and development of predictive/preventive maintenance programs for equipment.
  • Perform reliability assessments and analysis of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Establish and maintain planned and predictive maintenance programs for equipment and set parameters for and type of maintenance performed within the programs.
  • Develop Equipment Criticality Index for site assets.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse equipment performance and implement measures to improve reliability and overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Maintain records on equipment histories and costs, coordinate with operations and maintenance supervisors for needed changes toward increasing reliability.
  • Analyse records, troubleshoot equipment problems and make procedure recommendations to operations and maintenance.
  • Participate in recommending and requisitioning equipment, tools, materials and spare parts.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to optimize plant designs for cost effectiveness, reliability, operability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to O&M staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in relevant experience in maintaining metallurgical/mineral processing plants/or reliability,
  • Experience of working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
  • Good knowledge of procedures for start-up, operating routines, emergencies, routine inspection and maintenance.
  • High knowledge of Phosphate Beneficiation processing
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience of working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
  • Knowledge of industry equipment reliability and data acquisition and analysis systems.
  • Proficiency in using reliability analysis tools and software.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Experience with reliability-cantered maintenance (RCM) and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).
