The GIZ Jordan Project Improved Governance to Support Jordanian Reform Projects (PARtner ll) is seeking to hire a “Public Finance and Administration Advisor - Focus: Digitization Services” based in Jordan- for full-time base employment.
The project “Improved Governance to support Reform Projects in Jordan” (PARtner II) is expected to be commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and is expected to run from April 2026 to March 2030. Subject to the commission, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH will implement the project on behalf of the German government.
This bilateral project will follow the currently running PARtner I and work together with the Jordanian Government to enhance the capacities of the public administration in Jordan. Under the umbrella of the Public Sector Modernization Roadmap and the Economic Modernization Vision, the project will continue to support the transformation of the public sector. Through a more efficient, effective public administration which is responsive to citizens’ and businesses’ needs, and transparent and evidence-informed decision-making, the project will support the wider Jordanian reform agenda.

The anticipated start date for the role is April 2026. The hiring for this position is subject to the confirmation of the project commissioning.
