Job Summary:
The Designer will play a critical role in creating visually compelling sustainability and ESG reports and communication assets for clients across various sectors. This individual will work with internal teams to ensure effective communication of complex sustainability data through engaging, accessible design. The Designer will manage design processes, contribute to brand identity, and handle tight deadlines while delivering high-quality results. A passion for design and sustainability, combined with creativity and the ability to manage multiple projects, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand project objectives, target audiences, and key messages, ensuring alignment with the client’s brand guidelines.
• Report Design: Conceptualize and produce visually engaging sustainability and ESG reports, incorporating interactive and accessible design elements for clients across various sectors.
• Design Tools: Utilize industry-standard design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to create visually appealing assets, ensuring consistency in layout, typography, and branding.
• Data Visualization: Develop custom infographics, charts, and data visualizations to translate complex information into clear, engaging narratives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and ensure final designs meet client expectations.
• End-to-End Design Process: Manage the design process, including coordinating design needs, mentoring independent designers, presenting concepts to clients, and delivering fully designed reports (online and printable versions).
• Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, integrating innovative techniques where appropriate.
• Deadline Management: Show flexibility and adaptability to meet urgent deadlines while maintaining a high standard of design quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong experience in data visualization, report design, and information layout.
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and reporting guidelines is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including reports and sustainability-related designs.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic and experience designing bilingual reports (English and Arabic) would be an advantage.
