Social Media Specialist
Position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager/ Agency/ DMC.

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of strategic social media and digital initiatives, including developing and managing viral marketing campaigns, creating and supervising high-profile channel accounts, and integrating interactive media into the overall business strategy. Other duties may include, monitoring and analysis of social media trends and their impact on the company brand, and supervision of an internal team.

In this role you will manage content execution across multiple platforms, include Twitter, Face book, Flicker, YouTube and client communities. In addition to page moderation and spam management, you will be responsible for offering advice and resources to fans and followers, checking and responding to discussion tab conversations, and staying up to date on all page activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders (e.g., Digital, Marketing, PR, Business Development, Ad Sales, etc.) to:

1. The Social media Specialist will be responsible for strategic collaboration, tactical execution and measurement of social media efforts. Objectives include supporting digital priorities, growing social media footprint and engagement, as well as driving traffic, awareness and repeat usage of Company’s Products and services.
2. Implement strategies, tactics and editorial calendars to support business priorities in social media
3. Content writing for business
4. Strong analytics and project reporting skills
5. Advise and make strategic recommendations on social media integration into business priorities
6. Procure unique content to support social media efforts and initiatives
7. Leverage agency relationships to support digital and social media priorities
