Job Summary:
Egyptian packaging and plastic systems is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Local Procurement Specialist to manage and optimize our sourcing and purchasing operations. This role focuses on securing high-quality goods and services, maintaining cost efficiency, and building strong supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in procurement strategies, market analysis, and contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure the availability of quality goods and services.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and develop purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct research to stay updated on market trends, supplier offerings, and competitive pricing.
• Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
• Regularly assess and review supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and company expectations.


Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in science or Engineering or.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in indirect procurement.
Technical Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of ERP system.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Excellent command of English Language.
• Professional oral and written communication skills.
Key Competencies:
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good planning and high accuracy level.
