Petra Engineering Industries Co.; a market leader in the design and manufacture of high quality commercial and industrial HVAC equipment; seeks to hire Senior Internal Auditor with the following:

Main Duties:        

• Performing individual risk-based internal audit engagements as part of the annual internal audit plan. This includes developing internal audit programs, performing internal audit procedures, and preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed.
• The audit work performed will include coverage of financial, IT and operational processes.
• Applying internal control concepts to plan, perform, manage, and report on the evaluation of various business processes.
• Performing follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit issues.
• Contributing to periodic reporting, development of the annual internal audit plan, and spreading awareness of internal control, risk management and corporate governance concepts throughout the company.
• Directing and reviewing the work performed by other internal audit personnel.
• Reviewing SOPs and identifying any need for amendments.
• Assessing and reporting how well the business is complying with regulations.

Qualifications:

• BA degree in Accounting/Finance or industrial engineering.
• CIA holder is preferable.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, supply chain or accounting.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Understanding of internal auditing standards, COSO and risk assessment practices
• Familiarity with using ERPs and audit analytics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Very good command of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to work effectively on his own and as part of a team.
• Problem solving and negotiation skills.
