The Montessori Modern School (MMS) is looking to hire a Librarian to manage and develop our school library in alignment with the school’s educational mission.
All candidates must demonstrate the following attributes:
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an IB school environment.
- Strong organizational and digital cataloguing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with modern educational resources and digital research tools.

The Librarian will be responsible for:
- Managing the library collection (acquisition, cataloguing, lending).
- Supporting students and teachers with access to learning resources.
- Promoting reading and research among students through programs and activities.
- Maintaining a quiet, welcoming, and resource-rich environment.
- Assisting with digital literacy and responsible research practices.
