The MMS is looking for a Music Teacher!
All candidates must demonstrate the following attributes:
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Music or Music Education.
2. Minimum of [3 years] teaching experience.
3. Strong knowledge of music theory, notation, and performance.
4. Ability to play one or more musical instruments is a plus.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Passion for both music and technology, with an eagerness to inspire the same in students.
Responsibilities:
1. Teach MYP plans focused on music theory, performance, and instrumentation to students of various age groups and skill levels.
2. Integrate modern technology into the music curriculum, enhancing the student's experience and understanding of the music production process.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that combine music with other subjects.
4. Organize and participate in school concerts, events, and extracurricular activities.
5. Stay updated with the latest trends in music, continuously improving and adapting the curriculum.
6. Provide feedback and assessments on students' performances, compositions, and productions.
