Organisation Background:
Founded in 2011, the International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) is an international non-governmental organisation tat supports humanitarian aid workers by establishing safety coordination platforms in insecure contexts. INSO provides registered NGOs with a range of free services, including real-time incident tracking, analytical reports, safety-related data and mapping, crisis management support, staff orientations, and training.
INSO provides daily support to more than 1000 NGOs operating in 16 of the world’s most insecure countries. INSO is registered in the Netherlands with its headquarters based in The Hague, the international city of peace and justice.
INSO Palestine
In response to universal demand from the aid community, INSO Palestine has reopened to support vital NGO coordination across Gaza and the West Bank alongside a range of safety and security services. INSO has deployed a team in Amman to provide reporting, analysis, coordination, and preparedness services. We continue to closely coordinate with the NGO forum (AIDA) and UN partners (OCHA, DSS), to ensure a relevant and effective response.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Information Manager, the information officer is responsible for a complete understanding of all Conflict & Humanitarian Data Centre (CHDC) data entry, capabilities, storage, and security. He/she will become an expert on the CHDC and the Partner’s Portal (IPP) and can facilitate partner registrations. The IO also provides technical support for creating visualisations and dashboards, while maintaining the accuracy and completeness of the data. He/She needs to be proactive, creative and understand the added value of visuals.

This position is based in Amman and is open to national staff.
12-month contract, $2,300 per month salary with 40 working hours per week, providing health insurance and annual leave.
