Job Description and Requirements

MISSION

At his/her assigned base level and under the supervision of the Admin Manager, the HR officer assists in the recruitment process in accordance with Solidarités International’s procedures.

POSITION

NATIONAL EMPLOYEE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT: 

  • Post Job Vacancy announcements in accordance with the diffusion strategy determined by their line manager, receive and assist in sorting through applications, and provide regular updates to the line manager on the progress.
  • Contact applicants at all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Supervise technical tests in collaboration with the field HR team and participate in applicant interviews as requested by the line manager.
  • Organize and maintain proper filing of recruitment folders, sharing the final versions with the field team for archiving purposes.
  • Facilitate the signing of administrative documents by employees and collect all necessary administrative paperwork.
  • Update and ensure accurate documentation of recruitment files and digital records in Homere as per Solidarités International procedures (including work contracts, job descriptions, and personal administrative records, etc.).
  • Prepare a long list of CVs to share with the Admin Manager and the requester.
  • Manage the ONA account (advertising tool) with regard to job criteria and questions.
  • Fill in for the HR field team during their absence.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all HR data.
  • Participate in monitoring work contracts on the base.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager

ARCHIVING:

  • Update and ensure physical and digital archiving of all administrative documents.
  • Properly classify and file recruitment folders.
  • Print, scan, and file necessary documents in accordance with the archiving policy

REPORTING / COMMUNICATION:

  • Ensure the publication of information received from their line manager on the information board.
  • Report any information or problems linked to his/her activities to his/her line manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, languages, or another relevant field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in the same areas in a similar position with an INGO. 
  • HR diploma / certificate is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Excellent coordination skills, and enthusiasm for working with many teams in multiple regions.
  • Ability to use all Microsoft Office, and HR programs.
  • Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work to deadlines efficiently.
