Consultant to Produce a Manual on Feminist Mentorship Programs in Arabic/ RFQ-MENRP-25-0010

Feb-April 2025

Background:

In 2023-2024, OXFAM MENA piloted a six-month feminist mentorship program targeting 12 feminists from the MENA region across different generations and geographies. The program aimed at bridging the gaps between older and younger feminists, promoting mutual learning and intergenerational exchanges of perspectives and experiences by providing them the space to meet, exchange ideas, and collaborate on joint initiatives.

The second feminist mentorship program was launched in January 2025 based on key learnings from the pilot phase, targeting 16 feminists across different generations and countries. Both programs are based on feminist values and principles, challenging hierarchical relationships and promoting a two-way mentoring process. It emphasizes mutual continuous learning, renewal, peer solidarity, and collective movement-building for feminist social transformation.

The program includes both one-to-one mentoring and group sessions, fostering both individual and collective learning and support.  Within this framework, OXFAM seeks to recruit a consultant to produce a user friendly manual in Arabic on feminist mentorship using anti colonial and feminist approach.
