Job Description and Requirements
The GIZ Jordan Project " Partnerships for development-oriented vocational training and labour migration (PAM)” is seeking to hire an “Junior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist” for full-time base employment.
The Partnerships for development-oriented vocational training and labour migration (PAM) project is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). It promotes international, regular, and safe migration by fostering partnerships between skilled crafts organizations, TVET providers in partner countries, and German companies. The program is running a training and mobility scheme in various skilled craft occupations in Jordan, in collaboration with the Jordanian Ministry of Labor and the Vocational Training Corporation. Throughout the project, up to 300 participants will benefit from these activities.
 
Qualifications and Specialist Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in economics, administration/ management and any other related field 
1 - 2 years of professional experience
Very good organizational and networking skills
Proven knowledge about the German labour market and the German vocational training system in the Skilled Crafts
Knowledge in M&E, PR and communication
Excellent advising, empathy, communication, cooperation and methodological skills
Commitment, team spirit, reliability, gender competence and intercultural understanding
Very good digital competencies (MS Office: MS Teams, Power Point etc.)
Excellent Arabic and English language skills / German language skills are desirable
 
Main Responsibilities 
Participate in processes related to data collection, maintaining contacts, building networks, and ensuring the quality of any evaluation missions.
Support in structuring and maintaining the knowledge management system, analysing results, and documenting lessons learned.
Conduct field visits to training locations to collect feedback from beneficiaries and draft detailed reports.
Prepare regular internal reports and reports for project partners, summarizing key figures and progress.
Support the preparation and organization of project events and activities.
Classify, organize, and ensure the quality of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data.
Archiving and maintaining project documents in an organized and accessible manner.
Provide input to improve M&E processes and support the implementation of the global project M&E system.
Where appropriate and reasonable, the position holder is willing to perform tasks outside the scope of the job description.
