The GIZ-implemented project Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Economic Development and Employment (E4DE)—also referred to as the Joint Action—is a BMZ- and EU-funded initiative supporting inclusive and sustainable economic development in Jordan, with a focus on entrepreneurship and decent employment, particularly for women, youth, and vulnerable groups. As part of GIZ’s Private Sector and Financial Sector Development programme, the project targets key governorates (Jerash, Mafraq, Karak, Aqaba, and Amman) to improve the business environment, enhance entrepreneurial capacities, and increase employment opportunities. It strengthens public and private ecosystem actors through policy support, capacity development, and service delivery aligned with Jordan’s General Entrepreneurship Policy and broader EU-Jordan Partnership Priorities (2021–2027).
